Dr. Lin Feng obtained his LLB degree from Fudan University in 1987. Subsequently he obtained his LLM degree from Victoria University of Wellington in 1992 and his Ph.D degree from Peking University in 1998 respectively.

Dr. Lin Feng was assistant lecturer at the Law Department of Fudan University from 1987-1989. He joined the Law Department of City University of Hong Kong in 1992 (at that time it was called City Polytechnic of Hong Kong). He is currently an Associate Professor at School of Law, City University of Hong Kong, teaching constitutional and administrative law to LLB, JD and LLM students. He is the Director of the Centre for Chinese and Comparative Law of the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong, mainly responsible for organizing research projects, conferences,

Dr. Lin Feng was called to the England & Wales (non practicing) in 1997 and the Hong Kong Bar in 2000. Dr Lin Feng specialises in Chinese law, constitutional and administrative law, environmental law and intellectual property law. He has been asked to provide expert opinions on Chinese law on various occasions to governmental departments in Hong Kong, international, overseas and local law firms.
